Montana Health Network partners with Eastern Montana AHEC to provide a comprehensive healthcare career education program

Montana Health Network operates a mobile clinical education delivery system that provides on-site patient simulations for healthcare career education and training opportunities for healthcare providers of all disciplines.  The program relies on experienced staff and a state-of-the-art patient simulator.  The simulator provides learners with an interactive learning environment that provides immediate feedback without requiring an actual patient or emergency.

Several hospitals/clinics have chosen to utilize the simulator in their healthcare career camp sessions, such as nursing or emergency services.  The simulator allows them to do a wide variety of hands-on activities including, but not limited to, stethoscope operations with lung and heart sounds, blood pressure monitoring and interacting with trauma scenarios.  Students who have had time with the simulator consistently rate it as one of their favorite experiences of the career curriculum.

“My favorite part of the day was when we got to listen to the heart sounds and give shots to the simulator.”
